CURRENTLY | Working on my passion & freelancing

My main focus is photography, but graphic design will always be a part of my passion.

I also create & manage a few social media accounts for different clients & do some freelance graphic design work.

Website design is also part of my services list, a as I feel I have a keen eye on what works online.

With that comes all the admin, organising & behind the scenes tasks of owning your own business/freelancing.

2020 - 2022 | Senior Designer + Team Manager

I worked at Ciblé Digital (now Narrative Arc Studio)as the team manager, and graphic & website designer. I was in charge of managing all projects & approving creatives from other designers.

I created various branding packages, from logo design to website design.

I also managed social media accounts for various clients and sports events. As a team, we created content and scheduled all the client’s social media campaigns.

We also covered our clients’ events on social media in real-time as well as all the pre-and post-marketing work.

2019 - 2020 | Graphic Designer

My responsibility at Lily Young was mainly as a Graphic Designer creating beautiful wedding suites for soon-to-be brides & grooms.

I first met with the client to discuss the idea for their special day & from thereon designed all their wedding invitations and stationery. Included in the job was designing branding & CI work.

I also managed all my clients’ pre- & post-print production work; packing and sending out client orders; basically managing client projects from beginning to end.

There was admin work involved such as dealing with clients on a daily basis & handling phone & email queries.

2017 - 2019 | Creative Manager + Designer

At M.studio I was in charge of creating beautiful graphics for clients, from packaging to wedding stationery.

I also created beautiful in-house stationery & stationery products to be sold in an online shop & maintained their WordPress site. I also packed & shipped the customers’ orders & was their trusted ally for their online orders.

I also helped with content creation for their social media account. There was a bit of admin work and packing – so a “Jane of all trades”.

2013 - 2017 | Junior Graphic Designer + Print Enthusiast

I got an opportunity to work at Sorted Design Studio as an intern & I stuck around for about 3.5 years.

There, I was involved in designing advertisements, flyers, brochures & any business-related designs. This is where my experience in company branding design & applying CI specifications for multiple clients was born.

They also had a sister company called Inkfish Signs & Print where I gained all my knowledge of the printing world. I was the appointed print runner & receptionist. I adored the structure of running a printing company & all the admin that came with it.
